Q.1      Program is slow and hangs often?

Q.1      Program is slow and hangs often?

Ans.    Yes some program are slow and graphics heavy, I recommend better hardware to overcome this. PCs more than 3 years old will not match the juice needed.  To avoid hanging, avoid clicking too many buttons quickly, as this overloads the hardware.

 Q.2     Where is the help file?

Ans.   Help file can be accessed through grey startup screen, by clicking on MyLife Book icon pull down menu. It may

        also be accessed by pressing ‘F 1’ key while using any program. You may also click “Program Overview” (Select from

        ‘Help’ menu) present in all programs this will give a brief idea of functionality of all programs.

 Q.3      Does the MyLife Suite come with the full version of your individual programs like Notebook software, etc? 

Ans.    Yes, ML Smart org suite comes with all programs and functions –full versions. It is $ 29.99 to activate, free to try

          for  45 days

Q.4      Are the programs included in the suite the complete program of MyLife Money and the others or is it a

            smaller program since it's bundled? 

Ans.    Yes suite has full programs of all, MyLife Money program imports- exports MS Money formats and quicken *.qif file

         formats. Mylife pocket money is not suited for business accounting, but for personal accounting it has very good

         analysis features,

Q.5      Will this program synch with a PDA/Palm Pilot?  If so which OS's does it work with?  Do I have to buy

            additional software or is it included?  Can I export everything from MyLife to my PDA or just contacts?

Ans.    YES and NO,, !! , It exports data, indirectly,  It generates a *.csv file of all your contacts, all 50 fields of MyLife

          are merged and saved to palm pilot fields as an excel file. This may be imported into Palm. It does same for Casio PDA

          format. Beauty of MyLife is in the open export -import functions -  it syncs with MS outlook,   Outlook express, *.VCF

          format, MS access etc. All programs save data in excel, text, html formats. All reports may be saved as PDF, HTML ,

          text-RTF files.It sends email to outlook, outlook express outbox You can import contacts from access, outlook,

          outlook express, excel etc, you can even export to access, table and reports for your own modification, create custom merged data filed files, generate and export 3 line record for each MyLife record ( i.e. one each for home, work1 and work 2 details ) You can even generate a basic personal website - of all your data

Q.6      I will need to install this on my home computer, work computer, home laptop, and work laptop - can I synch

            them easily or do I have to manually input the information over and over again?

Ans.    NO, no information needs to be input again, you will have to copy and replace data files, to the PC you want to see

          data in. To do this use backup and restore feature in mylife console program. 

Q.7      Is MyLife Network ready?

Ans.    No, MyLife is a home pc sw , not designed for networking, or MS exchange server. however all programs interface

          well (import-export) data with MS outlook, outlook express etc.

Q.8      Purpose of programs?

Ans.     Purpose of all programs is in Help file Program overview in each program accessed by Help menu in each program

          toolbar. My Life web help accessed by clicking MyLife suite Product Details under Help menu in toolbar.

Q.9      Do you have a collection of software for Small Business Owners?

Ans.    No, but half the programs in MyLife suite are are good for personal productivity, contacts, emailing, notebook,

          simple accounting, scheduling, planning, calculators, conversions, info, inventory, scanning, free database, database

          utilities, Personal  record, expiry dates  etc and hence very suited for small businesses, we have made some very

          advanced functions and number of features are well worth the money and equivalent in functionality to about 20-50

          smaller programs.

Q.10    I have installed a newer version, how may I use my old data?

Ans.    Send us email for transferring your user data to newer versions of MyLife. For this you will have to email us some files

          which will be modified & sent back for a nominal fee of US $20 only.

Q.11    What should I do if I was not able to access the File Manager when Clicking on the button, through the utilities 

            module?

Ans.    In your my documents have some corrupted file or virus generated file. So for time being you do that step First of all

          you create new directory in c drive then copy all the data of my documents to new directory then click on file manager

          I think it will working.

Q.14    Where is the Password system for personal information on the programme.

Ans.    Where user data is confidential or password is required I have given password facility. Password is provided Pocket

          Money-Accounts, Hobbies-Kiddy Accounts, and Personal Record-Kids Date Diary etc.

Q.15    I am using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email program but the software has links to MS Outlook. Is it possible to 

            change it through your set up utility?

Ans.   Software has no link to Mozilla Thunderbird at present
